Historical Research
In his leisure time, Ian is interested in the history of sport. At Sportinglandmarks, he blogs from time-to-time about places in the British Isles that have contributed to the development of world sport. He is currently researching the biography of John Graham Chambers, the Victorian author of the Queensberry Rules for boxing and prolific sporting administrator who was at the forefront of the development and codification of athletics, rowing, cycling and billiards.
